We went to a bbq restaurant to celebrate my friends' mom's birthday! It was a great time! There was a band and we got to dance like crazy! What a hoot it was!

Lately, we have been swimming a lot. We go in the mornings when it isn't too hot but the water is still very refreshing. I got new goggles that make it easy to keep my eyes open when I go under water!

I just got glasses to make my eyes stronger. They are helping me and I am getting used to keeping them on at all times.

On Monday I registered for kindergarten. I am very excited, but I have to get a few shots to finish up registration...I am not happy about that!

Mom and dad are going to take me to get supplies - woo hoo!

Swimming Lessons

I signed up for swimming lessons that started on the 4th of July. Both Olivia and I participated for two weeks. I gained lots of confidence in going under the water and learned the breaststroke, too. It's been a nice way to stay cool and get outdoors in the heat.

Summer Fun

We've been adjusting to having Owen around. Life is so much fun and we are always entertained. If Olivia and I aren't running around pretending to be mommies, we're playing at the splashpad or going to VBS or swimming. Summer is just beginning!

I did learn earlier this week that I qualified for entry into kindergarten this fall! I told Mom and Dad they had nothing to be concerned about. It was a breeze. The news has been important to me and I have decided to be a better listener at home and show Olivia and Owen how to follow directions. Mom and Dad have appreciated my new approach.

Showcase Showdown!

Last weekend I participated in my very first Showcase at North Valley Gymnastics. It proved to be a great time to display what I've learned to the crowd of hundreds of parents. There was lots of activity with a number of classes participating. We also got to watch the older kids show what the future holds if I stick with it...Mom and Dad - we'll see!

I love my brother! He is going to be with us in 5 weeks or less! We pray for him every day and can't wait to see him. Mommy and Daddy are excited and have been rearranging the house to accommodate his arrival. In fact, Olivia and I are getting a new bunk bed. We are stoked!

Spring Time

I just made a quick trip to Florida. It was a lot of fun. Traveling is easy for me. Airplane rides are no sweat. I guess I'm a jet setter.

Check out some of my adventures. Oma and Papa were great hosts and I got to spend time with my cousins Trevor and Joel and their family. Oma made me a veil to wear, too!

We've been preparing for our new baby. May will be here very soon. I am getting very excited for the day!

My blogging has slowed down recently...We all decided that life is is throwing a lot at us so we'll back off the blogging to enjoy the moment.

Right now, I am in San Diego with the family. Dad is attending the AAOS Annual Meeting to meet with surgeons at the Zimmer exhibit at the San Diego Convention Center. We plan on going to the Birch Aquarium and hanging out with old friends.

Before we headed over, I had a play date with my good friend Eva! What fun we had a Thompson Peak Park!

The past couple weeks have been great! Oma and Papa came out for a visit and we just had a wonderful time together! We got to do lots of fun things like go for a walk/bike ride, gymnastics, play beauty parlor, color, and a bunch of other things like that.

Then Daddy got really brave and decided to take me and Olivia on an airplane to Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was the longest that I have ever been away from Mommy. The next day Mommy flew in to join us. We all had a great time in the snow and I made a new friend in Madison.

Writing my first book

Hello everyone!!! I hope you all had a wonderful new year celebration! For me I went to bed just like every other evening.

The new year has inspired me to become an author of my own book. For Christmas my Grandma Linda and Grandpa Steve got me a blank castle book, which gives you room to write and draw pictures for your very own fairy tale. Over the past few days I have been working really hard at writing and designing my first book. I am not going to spoil it all but it has to do with a prince, princess, and dragon. I'll let you know once I am finish!

This Christmas was super meaningful to me. It was my first Christmas as a follower of Jesus! I was also really excited about opening all the gifts that I had under the tree, especially the big one wrapped in princess paper! Guess what it was...a new bike! I love riding my princess bike. We went out twice on Christmas day (it was 72 degrees and sunny to boot!).

Oma and Papa came to visit us this weekend! Aunt Jen and Aunt Erin came out, too! I was excited to get to have Aunt Erin come to my gymnastics class! Daddy and me have really bonded lately. Since Mommy has been a bit under the weather he and I have done some cool things all by ourselves. I get to explore and run and jump around. He is very strict about using my manners and treating people with respect. I like to test him, but I know he really loves me. He tells me that Jesus loves us so much and we need to share that love with everyone even when it's hard to do.

Hello Everybody!

On Monday I celebrated my 4th birthday! I really like being 4. I am really excited to now be the same age as Taylor and Caeden at least for a little bit. On my birthday I got to pick where we went out to lunch and of course I picked In-N-Out Burger!!! That place is so delicious! I got a kitchen set for my birthday and I told my mom, "It's pink, I will love it forever!"

I am so excited to have my birthday party with all of my friends on Saturday! I have been helping my mom and dad get ready for it! Thanks you to everyone who made me feel so special on my birthday! I am so greatful to have people like you who care!

We celebrated Labor Day by going to the baseball game. We watched the San Francisco Giants visit the Arizona Diamondbacks. It was fast game. No one scored until the 11th inning!

I am really into swimming! I now enjoy swimming under water and can swim for about 10 seconds before I need to get a breath. Yesterday we left for my homeland, San Diego, for a really quick visit. We were only gone for 24hours. My parents are pretty proud of how well I do riding in the car.

This week has been a pretty typical week! We having started looking at different homes to move to and we went to one yesterday that I really liked. I told my mom that we should get that house because then we could have chickens, dogs, and a trampoline.

It was Olivia's birthday this past week and we all had a great time at her party! I was so excited to have Taylor over. She is one of my best buddies that I met at the L.A. Fitness Kids Club. Our moms workout together.

For those of you who don't spend a lot of time with me you may not be aware of my one liners. My parents think that I am too sassy but I'm just having fun! For example Daddy and I were making my by bed. Daddy of course was doing so while sing quite loudly and I had to say, "Dad, stop I am trying to focus!"

To all my friends and family in Michigan I'll be there in a week! I am excited to see all of you guys!

I am a swimmer! I have been swimming since I was a baby and now I am swimming on my own. In the last week or so I have swam across our pool 10+ times with no help! It's roughly 40' long! Watch out world I'll be after you in the 2024 Olympiad!

There are several things that I really enjoy doing: playing with my Little People, going for walks, eating cereal, dancing, watching a movie, picking flowers, and have a treat. But I love to color. Coloring with crayons, pencils, and markers is so much fun! Much of my free time is spent decorating the pages of my books or blank sheets of paper with various designs and tie-dyed style patterns. It is so fun to color!

Hello All,

I was so excited for Mother's Day this year! I talked about it all week long and even helped Daddy make Mommy breakfast. It was so much fun!
I am also into wearing all pink and I absolutely love skirts! I frequently need to stop what I am doing so that I can fix my hair. My latest style is to wear a pink headband, have my nails painted pink, and wearing my pink flower sandals. I think pink makes people look so pretty!

May Day

I hope you all had a wonderful May Day and are celebrating Cinco de Mayo with large amounts of guacamole!

Last Friday I started a class at North Valley Gymnastics. What a blast I had. Both Mom and Dad got to come watch me run around with Coach Susan and the other 4 girls in my class. We did summersaults, round-offs, the balance beam, bars, and the trampoline to name several. My special leotard allowed me grace and fluidity among my peers. Coach Susan asked if I had ever been involved in dance or tumbling. Mommy said, "Nope."

I wish I had photos to share from the day, but we forgot our camera. Dad says will be sure to get some at one of the next classes.

I really enjoyed my time with Coach Susan. She welcomed me right in and gave me lots of pointers. I am excited to show her my improvement next time.

Being 3 doesn't stop me!

This has been a big week for me! I got a code yellow called on me at Target. I decided that I was going to run away from Mommy. After I did a quick sprint I didn't see Olivia or Mommy any where and since my legs were tired I thought it would be a good idea to go find a bench to sit on. My Mommy was really upset by the whole situation but I wasn't scared at all!

We frequently visit the pool so I have been working hard on my swimming and jumping in.

After I jump in I am able to swim on my own for a few strokes.

Now that Olivia and I have a sand box on the patio I love being out there. The patio is also great for friend watching. I like to see what's going on and who is out there. It's a great place to friend watch since it is right by the park. On this day I took Tully (the closest thing to a pet that my parents will allow me to have) out to look for friends. I didn't want Tully to run away so I found one of my belts and made myself a leash.

Good thing that today is blog day because a lot of things happened. Here are a couple conversations that I had with my Mommy...

"Mom, there is something very wrong in the bathroom!"
Mom said, "What?"
"There is a bug on the floor!!!"

"Mom, why don't you have an earring on your nose? I think that you should get one."
Mom said, "Gross, why?"
"Aunt Erin has one and it's so pretty. I want one too."

Today, I swam the most I ever have and it was so much fun! I can now swim about 8-10 feet without anyone's help. All that work makes a little girl tired. In fact, at dinner tonight I fell asleep while in mid-chew. Daddy had to do a finger sweep to get my bite of salad out of my mouth because I couldn't wake up enough to spit it out myself. Wow, how time flies! This week has gone by so quickly that my mommy and daddy forgot to take any pictures. So, I'll just give you an update on what I am up to these days...

I love to color, paint, cut, glue, and put stickers on my papers. I even rubbed lemon on my art to see what would happen! I thought it was so cool!

My most favorite thing to do is to play mommy! I am the mommy and Mommy is the sister and Daddy is the brother. I like to have us pack, go to Disneyland, and call everyone "sweetheart"!

Earlier this week we had taco salad for dinner and I told my parents that "beef, lettuce, cheese, sauce, and chips were my favorite flavors."

Easter Adventures

Mom and Dad gave Olivia and me a cool turtle sandbox in celebration of Easter! Before we played in it we had a hunt around the house for plastic eggs that had a little candy and money in them.

After a great time a church we came home a played in the sandbox and did a little painting.

Later we hung out with Caden and his family. I smashed a confetti egg on Dad's head!

We spent some time at the Railroad Park. Mommy and me went on the stagecoach and I went to jail. Dad says that he's gonna put me in jail every so often so I thought he would enjoy seeing me there!

The temps are starting to warm up! I am so happy because that means that we get to go to the splash-pad, the pool, and do other activities!

You all know that I am three. You also know that I think I am 4, 5, or 18 depending on the day. Recently I have been honing my driving skills like a teenager. Backseat driving skills, that is. I frequently make suggestions to Mommy and correct her "mistakes."

Daddy told me that we are going on a date this Saturday. I can't wait. We are a lot alike and sometimes bump heads because of that. I do love him and I love Mommy so so much!

We picked up my Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Dede from PHX today. They flew in to stay with us for a week. I am so looking forward to our time together since I only see them in person a few times a year. We do see each other regularly via Skype, but the real thing is always better. I wrote my name! It was backwards, but I did it. Mommy and Daddy were so excited when I showed them. Learning is so much fun.

I love to cook, color, play matching games, take pictures, and hang out with friends at the park. Check out the park in my back yard! We had a lot of rain; this wasn't even the peak. You can see the line on the hill that marks the water height!

The sun has come back and we are warming a bit, too! I love it!

40 Months Old

Happy 2010!!!

This year has started off wonderful! And I am still full of personality! My parents wanted me to share some the lines that I have said in recent days:

Mom comes in and asks if I went number 1 or number 2? Proudly I said, "I went number 3. I did potty and popo!"

"Mom, you're fired!"

"I like what I like."

We were all hanging out in Daddy's new office I said, " C, D, Ella show!" I followed that statement with a little performance.

"That is not how you talk to me!"

My mom's phone was ringing so I went and answered it. The lady asked for my mom and I told her that "My mom is driving me crazy!"

"I am sooooo sorrry!"

My baby fell, "She died!"

You can frequently find me with my hands on my hips.

Christmas: Happy Birthday Jesus!

Many of you know that I have developed a knack for cooking. My most recent endeavors included baking treats in celebration of the birth of Jesus. Mom and I made cookies, buckeyes, fudge, and chocolate covered pretzels.

Christmas morning was a great reminder of God's love and generosity to us. He sent His only Son to earth for us. His precious gift to us is free. We show love to one another by exchanging gifts with others...one of my favorite gifts was a crib for my babies! Thanks Grandpa Steve and Grandma Linda!

Later on Christmas I went to Caeden's grandparents' house...we sat at the kid table...alone. Daddy kept his eye on Caeden.

We capped of a great weekend by going to the park and shooting hoops. It was a great time!

I hope you all are having a great Christmas celebration! Remember the reason for the celebration.

"Following the Star" at Chaparral Christian Church. We met up with the Murphy family to take a journey to Bethlehem. I learned that a prophet told about the coming of the Messiah...Herod did not like what he heard...The shepherds were watching their flocks when an angel appeared bearing the of a Savior's birth...That the innkeeper had no room at the Inn...Wise men traveled a long distance to bring gifts to the Christ Child...And that night, in a stable, Mary gave birth to a baby son and they called him Jesus!

We headed over to the Los Angeles area to go visit Mickey and Minnie at Disneyland.

After a great time at Disneyland, we headed to San Diego to round out the trip. I got to see my good friend Daisy. We had a great time.

More Fall Fun

Lately, I have been really in to coloring and stickers. Back in October my Papa showed me how to put stickers all over their dog Izzy. Now I like to do the same thing to myself.

There is nothing like having a little sister. I am always telling my mommy and daddy how much I love her. Look close and you'll see my dirty feet. My feet are notorious for being dirt magnets.

On Thanksgiving, we went to Butler park with some friends to watch Daddy play football. He did a great job; he even scored a few touchdowns.

Later on Thanksgiving we went over to Caeden's grandparents' house for a wonderful Thanksgiving feast. I had so much fun running around with my buddy!

I really, really like to wrestle! "Daddy, I think that move is illegal!!!"

December is here! Wow how time flies!

Cooking Fun

In the last couple of weeks I have really been exploring the art of cooking. We have made a variety of items including muffins and fish tacos. One of my recent dishes that I made with Mommy: lemon bars. Mmmm!

On Sunday I was at my friends' house and said, "That's my mom. Her name is Heidi. My dad calls her 'Babe'!"

Bumps, Burgers, and Burgoise

Let's review some of the last week:

On Saturday we all went to get the oil changed and went for a walk while we waited. When we were inside one store I said to Daddy, "Mommy is driving me nuts!" Daddy was suprised.

That same day I went outside to play with some neighbor friends. I collided with one boy's head and got my first bloody nose. Ouch! Dad said I was a warrior and told me to rub some dirt on it.

On Monday my friends James and Charley came over and we indulged in IN-N-OUT BURGER and strawberry shakes. Got shakes?

Today Mommy asked me to pose with the flower hat that Aunt Messila and Uncle Cory gave to me. I look like a flapper, don't I?

Daily Routines

We do lots of projects. Here is my latest art project: water color paints and a paper towel tube. I use it as a loudspeaker!

I am still working at efficient tooth management, but I am forced to brush twice each day. Mommy and Daddy are sticklers on the dental hygiene!

What would you say if you saw me walking around with my hair like this? Bath time is always an important part of my day. Baths relax me and get me clean. Plus my hair gets special treatment!

Back in the Groove

Hello friends! We are officially back in the swing of things. Here are some recent photos of my adventures from the passed week.

I went to the zoo with my buddies Caeden and Joshua. Our mommies and siblings went, too. We celebrated Caeden's birthday. He's 4!

Mommy practiced her photography skills. I thought this shot was cool!

We went to Chaparral Community Church last Friday. Caeden was dressed up as Darth Vader. I was a fairy princess. I don't need a light saber!

Michigan Fall

Wow!!! Michigan is a fun place and has some pretty fun people!!! Baby Ella and I have really been enjoying ourselves. As you know, we flew on an airplane together, saw some family, and got to see the leaves change colors, and had a few birthday parties for me and for Grandma DeDe and Papa.

Did you know that apples grow on trees!?! I went to Crane's with the family to go apple picking for the first time. It was a lot of fun and afterward we got donuts and apple cider to eat. Mommy said that going to Crane's with her family was one of her favorite things to do growing up. The apples were delicious!!!

Papa and Oma bought a cottage by Lake Michigan. It was so nice to be by water and sand again! I am a beach girl at heart.

We started out very early in the morning today and made it to Michigan to see our family. Our trip started out with a visit with my Great Grandparents. We had a great time and I met some new family members, too: Uncle Bob, Aunt Dickie, Uncle Jim, and Aunt Debbie. We had a great time with them. After our visit we headed over to Grandpa Truck and Grandma DeDe's house.

Fall

Daddy, Olivia, and I read some books the other day. It was fun to spend time together. I very much enjoyed learning some new stories and hearing some old ones again!

We had a very activity-filled weekend that included spending time with Joshua and Caeden. We closed the splash pad at Joshua's house. We had so much fun!

Birthday Bash

What big fun I had for my third birthday! I celebrated early with some friends and their mommies at the park. We had a picnic lunch and cake! We also played in the splash pad. I had a great time and enjoyed spending the day with my friends. Thank you for coming!

I spent my real birthday with my family. We had a birthday breakfast that started with a birthday banana and Nutella.

Then we went for a run in the jogger. It was the first time for Olivia.

Next we took off to go to the circus. It was the first time for me. I tried hard to be just like the acrobats we saw!

My friends Lisa and Michael came over and brought me this beautiful cupcake. Mommy has been monitoring my consumption, but it sure has tasted good so far!

Then I went to the zoo a couple days after my birthday. It was pretty quiet since school is back in session. Caeden and I had free reign. What a blast!

Thanks for sharing in my adventures! My first three years has been wild...I can't wait to see what the future holds!

My birthday is coming up! I am going to be 3 years old. My mommy and daddy are so happy that I will be out of the "terrible twos". Just wait...they have no idea what the threes bring!

Pigskins and Labor Day

Football kicked off this passed weekend. I wanted to wear my "team shirt" that Grandpa Steve and Grandma Linda sent to me! Daddy and I cheered U of M on to a season opening victory. It was a fun game to watch.

I can't wait until U of M plays Notre Dame this weekend. It should be a dandy!

Woo hoo! It's September and September is my birthday month! Woo hoo! I am going to turn 3 on September 20th! I hope to have a fun party with cupcakes and cake and ice cream, too!

I went to Ms. Susan's earlier this week. What a treat! I got to play the piano!

We were in the hot tub the other day relaxing with some neighbor kids when Daddy asked Georgie what grade she was in. She said, "I am in middle school, 7th grade."

Her brother Grayson said, "I'm in 4th!"

"I'm in Sunday School!"

Family

We took my little sister swimming last week. It was the most she had been in the pool. I loved having her there with me. Our whole family got to swim together!

Some of my favorite foods include a good hot dog (or as Dad affectionately refers: tube steak). We had to make a stop at Costco and enjoyed a fine all-beef link.

We are expecting our last round of visitors. I love having people come and visit us! It is so energizing for me to have people around especially when they give me a lot of attention. Today we are going to go to the airport to pick up Uncle Cory, Aunt Melissa, and Brody! I am so excited to have them stay with us!

Summer Fun

Summer has been going by so fast!!! Not to mention the fact that it's been incredible (this is my favorite word right now). Since it is so hot we do most of our outdoor activities before 9:30am. After that we find things to do inside. I have been having fun getting to take a baths with Olivia. Below is my Alfalfa do.

My Grandpa Truck and Grandma Dede came to visit me and my little sister Olivia this week. They brought Olivia her very own Golden Doodle. I proudly named him Rooffi. He likes to wear shoes.

Daddy took Tuesday off and we spent part of the day at the Children's Museum of Phoenix. It was so much fun!

A New Sherriff in Town

I have been a big sister for one week! It has been exciting but challenging, too. I got to spend time with my buddy Caeden and his family, got to hang with my buddies Michael and Lisa, saw Joshua and Kayla, and welcomed Oma and Papa to our home for a visit.

I am adjusting to having a sister around. Daddy has been taking me on special dates, Mommy has, too. Olivia is so special to me, I am willing to not be the center of the Tucker Family Universe...for now!

New Arrival

I am proud to announce the arrival of my little sister! Her name is Olivia. She was born yesterday at 6:28 p.m. at Scottsdale Shea. I found out while staying with my friends, the Murphy Family. After the dust settled Mommy and Daddy agreed that I could come visit. Check out our new addition to the family!

Olivia instantly found a place in my heart because she gave me a present: my own cooking set!

Scooter

I am counting down the days till baby comes. I am so excited! Every night I ask the baby "what was your favorite part of the day?" I am practicing caring for the baby all the time on my dolls. I can change a diaper, feed them, comfort them when they cry, get the a toy when they ask, and put them to bed.

When I am not getting ready for the baby to come I enjoy doing big girl things. Oma and Papa sent me a scooter in the mail and it is so much fun to ride. This was the inaugural ride. Mommy said that I was a pro! I cannot wait to show Baby Tucker my mad skills.

I just keep growing up. I am gaining more confidence. I know what I want and when I want to do it. I love my Mommy and Daddy and can't wait to meet our new baby.

Most recently I am learning the hard way. When I disobey, I lose one of my dolls for the day. It's hard, but I am gaining an understanding that my actions have consequences. One day I will be sure to thank Mommy and Daddy for their tough love.

Mom and Dad were talking. They turned around and I had created a nice sink full of bubbles. We all had a nice laugh.

Our baby is to arrive any day. I can't wait to meet our special edition!

Swimming Lessons

This week I started swimming lessons at the Paradise Valley Community Pool. I am getting more confidence in the water and display loads of potential. I kick and scoop, kick and scoop!

To the East Side

Last weekend we moved to a new place. I really like it. I have a playground in my backyard, a swimming pool, and more room to run around. Mommy and Daddy are so excited. They wanted to get moved before our new baby comes. Looks like we'll be ready.

Tonight I got to spend some time with the Victor family. Mr. Rocky and I had a blast together. He really brought out my sense of humor.

I start swimming lessons next week. I hope to learn a variety of strokes and mastering the dolphin kick.

Independence

I am getting older, wiser, more confident, and sneakier! Here is a photo I took of Daddy while he was sleeping early in the morning. Not bad, but I am going to work on my angles and lighting.

Then I got caught drawing my own bath. Mommy found me playing in a couple inches of water with some of my bath toys.

We are gearing up for a great Memorial Day weekend. Mommy, Daddy, and I have been preparing for our move to our new home. It's been fun! I can't wait to share our new home with you!
