Got Milk?

Last night Mommy and I made oatmeal raisin cookies together.  I did the stirring and my mommy added the ingredients.  They were quite tasty!  Especially with some soy milk!  In fact, I think I'll go ask Mommy for one right now.

Wish you could have enjoyed them too!!!

Field Tripping

Hey everyone!

I hope you are all beating the heat!  We all went down the the Children's Museum of Phoenix (click on me to see the museum's website) over the weekend.  I had an excellent adventure in the renovated elementary school downtown.  There were all kinds of great hands-on activities:

Colorful tunnels.
Paper hat station.
Tricycle racing.
Home making.
Plus, Mommy dressed me up in one of Daddy's favorite shirts.
Go Tigers!

I'd like to share another event that happened last week.  I was outside with Mommy and saw ants marching in a line.  I crouched down and cupped my hands together and said, "Hug?"

The ants didn't respond so I asked them for a kiss.

Still no response, so I poked at them a few times.  "Careful!"

Then Mommy said, "Ella, it's time to go."

"High five ants!"  I shouted and raced after Mommy.

Summer Fun

I finally feel like I am back into my routine.  Mommy and I have been taking Daddy to work in the mornings and then going to the gym or as I call it "Kids Club".  I really have a great time there.
On Monday, Mommy picked Caeden up to go to the gym and then we went over to my house to play for a while, it was great!!!  Here we are sitting on the couch after a brief wrestling match.

Since the swings outside are too hot I have had to find something else to occupy my time.  I have really taken to coloring.  Mommy and I are working on recognizing different colors, but I usually say everything is orange or green.

I think that I hold the record for the youngest baseball fan.  At two weeks old I watched the Detroit Tigers play in the 2006 world series and as you can see I got dressed up to watch the MLB All-Star Game last night.  It wound up going 15 innings and we all fell asleep before the end!

Well, I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer because I sure am!

4th of July

This past week we had a great time celebrating the 4th of July. For part of the day went and hung out with the Waters Family at their community pool. It was a blast!!!

Daddy & me having fun!

Then on July 8th, Grandpa Steve's birthday, at 6:57pm I went potty in the toilet. I've had been sitting on the potty for quite sometime now without any action, but I am now getting the hang of it.Plus, Mommy & Daddy think that I have been saying a lot of funny things lately.

Here is one of them:

Tonight while we were shopping I was pushing my stroller and proclaiming, "By self!", "Move it people, move it people!", etc. Then when we got outside I started saying, "Move it cars!"

Sing me a song...

Singing is quickly becoming a favorite pasttime of mine. Mish-mashing the melodies of "Twinkle, Twinkle", "Jesus Loves Me", and "Happy Birthday" is quite a splendid treat. My parents encourage me and join in on the chorus. They say it's good for the soul and sweet for the ears.

If you haven't broke out in song recently, take a second, pop in a Milli Vanilli tape and blame it on the rain!

Love,

Ella
